Who we are

The data controller is EASY BITE GROUP LTD (company number 17428084), trading as Easy Bite Bakery, 13 Miller Street, Birmingham, B6 4NG. You can contact us about anything in this policy at enquiries@easybitebakery.com.

What we collect and why

• Pre-orders and wholesale enquiries: your name, email, phone number, delivery address where given, and anything you write in the notes field. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry.
• Launch waitlist: first name, email and phone number. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you submit the form.
• Website analytics: pages viewed, basket activity and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics 4 using a random identifier. Lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
• Accounts: if you create an account, your email and order history. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers who run this service for us: our website and database host (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase), our email delivery provider, our mailbox provider (Spacemail), and Google Analytics. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

Order and enquiry records are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC and accounting requirements. Waitlist and marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe, and reviewed every 2 years. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Marketing

Agreeing to be contacted about your order or a wholesale enquiry does not sign you up to a newsletter. We only send marketing where you have ticked a separate, unticked-by-default opt-in box, and every marketing email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep your basket and sign-in working; they cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. Nothing non-essential is set before you choose.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, withdraw consent, and ask for it in a portable format. Email enquiries@easybitebakery.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
